  here just enough to hold a fellow till dinner

  Been around here all morning, just waiting for

  dinner now. This is a great life feels like

  dropping from Hell into Heaven. Everything

  comfortable, big easy chairs, nice scenery & 

  all round, great life P.M. Had a good dinner

  all I could eat. Feel lazy today so never

  did any walking. Been to the show

  this P.M. P C & wrote  home after nice supper.

  Hung around all night till about 9, then

  rolled in (Sundy 27) Nice morning. up about

  9, had a short walk. Thought of going to

  the service, there was none had until dinner

  P.M Out for a walk up the mountain. Passed

  some place famous for a Queen having

  stayed there in 1807        past it now

  away into pine forest.    Sat      by a

  stream. Good view & nice sun shining.

  Going a little further, then turning back.

  Swell scenery & enjoying my trip. Up 

  further a little shack. Here nice scenery.

  Been to the service tonight at Y.M.

  today. Trolly & auto. Nice trip up. Cold,

  Snow storm when we landed at the top. 

  Very       people. Got back 7 PM.

  Feel cold yet, so didn't go to show.

  (29) Rested up today. Wrote to Robin. Reading.

  Went to both shows. Feel cold yet.

  Poor weather this last 2 days. (30) At

  Lourdes today. Up late so didn't get

  there till 1-30. Just here long enough to

  see the church and

  Poor people here & doing a lot of begging.

  May 1st. Rested today & bought a few 

  souvenirs. Another bunch of our fellows 

  got in today. Poor weather since Sunday:

  rain snow & sunshine (2) Started for

  home today. Nice morning. stared off about

  10. Stay in              until about
