  March 17 Up at 4 this morn. OK here so far

  Morroco just marched out but the claim they

  are coming + going all the time reading all PM

  18) Up at 10 this morning bit cold ready for

  work now. PN In K with ware would rather

  work with him (19) Up 4 this morn writing this

  before breakfast everything ready. Had a walk

  with Skinner this PM Algerians all over this

  part went to St Medard road. (20) Up at 4

  again makes it bad with Shep being away

  + John went to St Medard this PM St Brown

  Haines + Mazzo going home lots of wet weather

  latly but it does  not effect my work much .wrote home for telegram.. 

  have to get up again tomorrow (21) Wet morn

  hard work getting a fire with this wood

  breaking every box up we have  .playing football tonight bnched a fellow off his like ..  22 We get up in  ... 

  turns now makes it hard. Stayed in tonight

  camping in this room with our new fire. (23)  .Sunday. 

  Made breakfast myself this morning. everything

  OK to We expected some officers here for dinner

  + had to make steak + fried spuds they never

  came so we had a good feed. Went with

  Joe to St Medard (24) Up at 8 had a good

  breakfast ham + eggs expecting a letter from home
