  Nov 17th Sunday worked today in sand

  pit moving railroad lines, nice job

  had lots of fun coming home on the

  trucks. Keep saying we are going home

  this year. Nov 18 Lined up for work

  but dismissed all cheered went dismissed

  Took a walk with Joe this P.M. Hear

  we are sure going home this year

  Wanted to see Capt about a furlough

  but could not yet to see him. Got

  another package from home. Put stove up

  today. Expect going back to U.S. + want

  a furlough home Nov 19th Walked round

  again today. See Capt + he said he

  would do what he could, but giving

  to furloughs yet. At Q.M. tonight

  getting quite chummy latly think I

  will work tomorrow. 20th On sand

  detail,no work + took a walk this P.M.
