when we were going to reach
camp. It was a hard march
but I never let the idea
enter my head to drop out
for I still stick to my old
motto, what another man
can do at enduring anything
I always think I can, + would
stick it untill I dropped
before drop behind. We
reached camp about 4 o'clock
after what seemed about
a 3 miles march, I was very
hungry never had a bite allday
One of the cooks nearly got
shot accidently when he touched
the trigger on a rifle with a
case of canned goods. We got
supper about 5 o clock canned
