  Dec 31st  Soap in coffee this morning

  everybody  blaming  one another . Hear we

  have to be ready to move at moments

  notice, some say we go home others say we

  move to another place, something new

  everyday about moving I take no notice

  now been fooled so much. Good show

  at QM. went down after to midnight

  concert  but officers claimed the band

  Talked to chaplin awhile then watched

  the officers dine + dance, they were

  having a great time while we just

  watched + longed to be at some 

  good time Came home + Miller made

  some coco + we had a pie + made

  the best of things stayed up talking untill

  the new year came in Jan 1st 1919 Slept

  late this morning missed breakfast

  got some bread + made some coffee +

  had eno .u.. gh to get along till dinner. Just

  like a summers day  today, sat on railway
