  312th Engrs men to report at

  there barracks at once. On

  arriving at the barracks, we

  hear we have to pack up +

  be ready for off tomorrow

  morning + I am wondering

  where too I think it is France

  if so my chances for getting

  home are gone but I am

  not worrying for I know

  if I got home the parting

  would not be very pleasant

  We have been given extra

  traveling rations tonight consisting

  of two hard boiled eggs two

  slices of bread + a little  ..gain.
