a week or so. So far I personally
have had nothing more dangerous than
the shaking of the earth by bursting
shells and it is pleasant to hear
many of ours going back to answer
for each one they send from the
other side. My thoughts come to you
often my Beloved and I look forward
to the days when the war will be
over + I can come to you again
I hope we may be spared for
each other + for Kenneth + we will
go off for a glorious holiday
together. 10.30 pm.
I shall be going for a walk
round in a few minutes and
so had better finish this letter
I am afraid there will be
intervals between letters until
we get settled into this way
of living but I must make up
