  be very lucky. I have one room where

  my signallers and orderlies live by day

  and another room containing a bed, a

  chair, two stools,  a table + numerous

  shelves on which to store my

  belongings. By day I can do little

  but sleep, eat and make out orders

  and reports. At night I am fairly busy

  + go out for exercise visiting the

  various posts in my sector. Hall

  + I live in this dug out but

  he has a bed in another a few

  yards away. We live very well

  + can manage to get our food

  cooked in the dug out. Last night

  we had Sheppard in and gave him

  a good feed. He has gone back
