at last about 1-o clock we sat
down for the great meal & what
a meal. The first thing we had
Goose or duck which we choose
then beef & vegitables then we had
the usual christmas pudding then
fruit & cigarettes we had a many
minerals & as much beer as we
wanted. During the dinner we were
visited by General Raitt - Col.
Waterlow & the rest of the officers
but all the good they did
was to keep us from our dinner
but we made up for it afterwords
after dinner we all had a lie
down could anything else be
expected after having such good.
dinner. Tea time came around
eventually & for tea we had
Tea Bread Butter Jam
Marmalad & cake so we did
not fare very bad. after
tea we cleared the rubbish
