out of the room & prepared
I for a concert, but I am sorry
to day that this was not to go
off as good as the rest of the day
for just as we were preparing
for a good time when the news
came that there was some trouble
in the town. There was at once
a party of men told off to go into
the town to try & capture a party of
5 men (3 Turks & 2 Germans) who were
making trouble, after being out untill
4-o-clock in the morning they managed
to secure 3 of them in a private
house & these were at once placed in
the cells at the Barracks. All the
Guards at the Barracks were doubled
& another party of 50 men had to
patrol the town all night so this
just spoiled our christmas festivities
On Boxing day we had rather a quite
day being Sunday we had church
parade & then the rest of the day
