To Day we were out of Bed at 5-o-clock &

had Breakfast at 6.- after that we had our

things to pack & rope on the carts which were

being craven by 25 Mule Corps a native

regiment we then fell in & marched out

of Barracks at 8-15 accompanied by the

band which played. Will yer no come

back again & I hope before it is our time

to go back to Maymyo we are well on

our way to England.  After about 5 miles

the Band left us & returned to Maymyo &

we continued our journey I can’t say that

we saw any thing very interesting on the

first days journey every thing was just the

same as we have seen on many other

occasion but at last we reached our first

stop at a place called Thitnapah here we

stayed all night the worst about this place

was that it was impossible to have a wash

except in a very dirty stream but we

managed all right with a mud bath
