November 12. 1915

Am just about fed up sleeping like

this so to day I went out into the town

& bought a pillow for 8 annas (8') &

marched back to barracks with it as

proud as a peacock, am hoping to sleep

a bit better to night as I have had a good

hunt around & gathered up all the spare

newspapers & put them on the Bedstead

by the look of them they dont make a bad

bed. not very pretty I must admit but

better than nothing, could just do with

another couple of feathers in it any how.

November 14th 1915

Heard that we leave here on Dec.12.

For Maymyo & I dont suppose that we

shall be sorry to get back again although

it is said that it is terribly cold at Maymyo

a change will do us the world of good.
