received from the President of the Quarter Club

of Suez & dated May 3rd 1915

 

Mons. Colonel

 

We have received the Beautiful &

artistic cup sent by the Officers & men of the

74th Border in Remembrance of there stay at

Suez. In the name of the member of the club

& of all the Inhabitants of Port Tewfic I now

thank you warmly & assure you that we have

the Plesentest remembrance of the short hours

which you spent in our midst. Accept

Sincerest feelings.
