We were Relieved off Guard by D Company

about 9-30 & as the weather was very bad

all we could do was to sit about & wait for

dinner.  After Dinner we had about 2 hours

cleaning our Rifle & Bayonett as they were in

a Terrible mess after Being on Guard on the

rain During the Rest of the day we simply

lolled away untill Bed time about 8-30.

Sun Mar 28 1915

Sunday as usual we were marched down to

Hospital for our dose of Quinine. This is something

rotten after this we had our usual church

parade 9 untill 10-30 after that we spent it

very quiet simply lying & idling about doing

nothing untill evening when we went up town

& a small Supper & then came back & went

to bed.
