The First day after our Manoevers & a holiday

we arose this morning at 8-o-clock & we at

once into Breakfast. After Breakfast we decided

to have a good day scrubbing & cleaning our

arms & equipment as every thing was so very dirty

& for about four hours the Place looked more

like an amateur Laundry instead of a Barracks

but we finished at last & went to bed about

7-30 to make up for the sleep we had lost

during the past fortnight.

Thurs Mar 25 1915

The second day of our holiday I cannot say

very much as we spent a very lasy day

writing letters & this day just received word

that I have to go on Guard on Friday

morning so had to prepare for a rotten

job.
