To day I had to take my turn at Water

carring that is fetching drinking water for the

men of the shed in which you are sleeping or

trying too.  After this we had a trip up to see

the native bazaar this is much more interesting than

Maymyo as here you see them in exactly their

native state they are all mostly Chinese here and

there are a great many opium shops. You see

here the Chinese women in their native dress

and with very tiny feet in fact some of them

have to walk with sticks as their feet are

to small to carry them (not like many English

whose feet are so big you can’t knock them

over.) To day I also saw a polo match which

was very interesting as I had never seen one

before.
