most enjoyable evening when we
received a regular Prize Packet. During
the afternoon a party of men we told
of to get the Theatre ready & then every
man had to pay one Anna towards the
lamps. Then we took our Piano in the
theatre for which every man has to pay
2 Annas per week & then they had the
impertinance to charge us 4 Annas for
admission, if this is not keeping a dog
and Barking yourself I don’t quite
know what is. To day I think I have
recieved the most letters & correspondence
at once that I have ever received. By
to days mail I got five letters & one
newspaper I got news & Christmas Cards
from all old & Dear Friends in
England & also a Christmas card from
Pa & Ma which I shall always keep
& a remembrance of the Xmas I
spent in Burmah.
