  fire alarm on board.

  Terrible day rained all day. Also very
  stormy. We passed through the Bay
  of Biscay.

  very stormy morning, afternoon & evening Fine
  spent most of the day watching porpoises jump in
  the sea. Passed Portugal. North coast of
  Africa & Gibraltar. Entered the Mediterranean
