The largest being at Moscow in Russia, but

this is  truly a marvellous bell & 50 men can

stand udner it quite easily. It is called the

Mindoon Bell & is made of solid Brass & although

not knowing the real weight it must have weighed

at the very least 80 tons & is something that is

really worth seeing after leaving this we went to

see a Pagoda which is now in Ruins, if this pagoda

has been completed it would have undoubtedly

have been by far the largest in the World. It was

only about 1/3 built when it was shattered by an

Earthquake & if this is the results of an Earthquake

then I never want to be in an Earthquake. It

is really wonderful to see the great cracks torn in

the solid masonry & great blocks of masonry

weighing scores of tones have been thrown for

scores of yards. The structure in itself is

simply immense. I have never seen such a

massive piece of building in my travels

before & I must say that it is simply

wonderful & also marvellous how they have got

the Great massive pieces of stone up to the

height they have considering that the time this
