Left the Descado & was not sorry
to go. Entrained for Calcutta. We
had tea at a small station called
Catpuri but arrived before the Bread
was ready & had to make shift with
a lump of tinned meat in one hand
& a mug of tea in the other. We
slept in the train no one laying down at all
sitting up.
Dec 4th 1914

called Shegoon but was the same as at
Catpuri no Bread so again had to be
Content with meat & tea.

Arrived at a small place called Badneri
here they had managed to get prepared for
us & we had a rare tuck in off stewed
