  for then I get quite a lot of news about

  you as well. I do like to get your

  letters + they are all real good. They

  keep me going along smiling.

     You must congratulate Ted + tell
  

  him it takes a lot of living up to 

  - a much more important job in training

  than a platoon commander.

       By the way more envelopes would 
  

  be useful when you are sending

  another parcel for I have written

  quite a lot of letters from my Woodland

  Home + have only ten left. We

  hope we are having a nights rest

  to night but of course we don't

  really know until the night is

  over. In a few more days we shall

  be in trenches + then there will be

  no sleep at nights, only by day.
