mine is more of a rest than yours
for I haven't to get dressed for breakfast
and there is no Kenneth to see to +
all those other things which you
do + do not call work. Hope you
had a good time with Lills & the
children. I went to HdQrs to a meeting
this afternoon, stayed tea with them
+ then went on to Hall's tent. He
is back with us again from Brigade
+ is at present in command of 'B' Coy.
Did you have a good time at
Riccall? You were not far out
but we found the line different
from what we expected. We are
staying in twenty days - a good
long spell again isn't it? Still it
is not too much like hard work +
the danger is about the same when one
is anything like near to the front
