My Own Darling Wife,
Many thanks for your letter
of the 21st just received & your parcel
received last night. We had
(probably whatever edible thing she sent)
for tea but it was unfortunately (gone bad)
when we cut in to it. However (someone else got)
a parcel also & so we did have (something nice to eat)
for tea on Whit Sunday. It is
again. We had a church
morning & most of the day I have
lying in the shade in my tent.
I played soccer & to-day I suffer
two Camp's Rough I have no
show. In the evening I had a
dinner with another Lincoln Bat
has done some good fighting
area. We are not staying
