  The rain still continues, I wonder how John

  liked the Bombay Course. I know several who

  have been there + they seem to have had a

  good time. Sorry I didn't say anything

  about the lamp - any kind will do. We

  have managed much better for light lately

  as we found an oil lamp or two which so

  far we have managed to cart round without

  breaking. We can get parafin as an issue

  Phillips went to Hospital sick about a fortnight

  ago + I hear he is going to England - sick leave

  I think. Yes the CO keeps pretty fit

  Yes I think you will find plenty to

  do when you get to Grantham. I do hope

  you will have a good time + not be

  lonely. Don't let the electric people

  worry you - we are clear as far as they

  are concerned whatever they put on the

  bill. I hope you had a real good

  time at Headingly. Hope the snaps

  will come out well. Glad Kenneth

  took to the big bed so well this

  time. Fancy him weighing 2 stone. He
