the "one chance extra." Probably
my arms & chest will lose their
tan again then. We had a
thunderstorm this afternoon with a
tremendous rain storm. Almost
a quarter of an inch of rain fell inside
an hour so there is plenty of water
about now. The shell holes are half
full & I guess the forward trenches
"hold a sup" for some of ours
had over a foot of water in them.
Probably they will be drained out
before we get up to-night. This
seems to have developed into quite a
long talk but I must stop now.
Tell Kenneth Daddy sends kisses &
lots of love. All my thoughts
are with you my own. Give
my love to Maud & John & tell
them I will try to write occasionally
