our fellows think so well of the
States that the usual remark

To-night we go out on
working parties so whilst you are
thinking what a lovely moonlight
night it is we shall be keeping
warm digging trenches. We shall
not be very near the Boche so
the moonlight will be pleasant
this time - though I have known
it otherwise.
No I don't think Kenneth will
get spoiled at Knaresborough when
you are there to look after him.
I guess he is great with his
