My Own Darling Wife
See for you letter received this
morning. So glad to hear that Kenneths
cold was so much better. I hope that
he will go strong now + not catch
another. You must have had some
cold weather. We are getting it pretty
cold here, with a far amount of snow.
Still we get used to the weather + it
amuses us to grouse at it. We spent
most of last night outside but
fortunately we finished our job + returned
to rest about - 4 am. The night before
we went out to dig + last night
we had a stunt which was quite
successful so as soon as we were
relieved we left the cold + the snow.
I didn't notice how cold it was
at first but the last hour of waiting
was as bad as I wanted. I had
telephoned back as soon as I knew
it was possible for us to get back
