  much needed change of clothes

  Hope Jack is better + that

  Kenneth has lost his cold.
  

  Tell him I am coming to play with

  him again some day. We

  have had a decent drying

  wind + hope that spring

  is coming to make things

  warm dry + pleasant.

  It was nice to see some green

  grass to-day. There is precious 

  little of it in this area as

  the face of the earth is

  practically a mass of

  shell holes which the

  guns made last year.
