& About ten miles brought us
to our billets. Here again I was
lucky & got a bed. Stafford &
Johnson shared another in the
same room. I was feeling much
better in the morning & "Sally"
managed the fourteen miles
easily. Here we are in French
Huts & they are not nearly as
good as ours. Still we are
quite all right & I am feeling
fit & well again now.
We have a "mess room" where
Headquarters & A Company feed on
Bully Beef, Biscuits, etc. & what
we are able to buy locally
which does not amount to
much.
