Tuesday April 21 1915
To Day was our first Parade since coming
to Mandalay. Revielle sounds at 5-30 we fall
in at 6-30 Dismiss for Breakfast 7-45 Fall in
again 8-45 & Dismiss for the day at 10-30
at 10-30 the heat is just beginning to get fierce
& it impossible to do any thing except lye about
untill 5-o-clock when the Heat is wearing off. The
nights here are not very bad but the heat of the
day makes it impossible to go very far you feel too
weary & faged out.
Wednesday April 22 1915
To day the parade’s were similar to yesterdays
except at 6-o-clock I had to go on Magazine
Guard. This guard only mounts during the night
from 6 p=m untill 5-30 A.M. During the night
however a storm started & a storm out here is
a storm. It is a continual battle for days
between the sun & the lightning. Whilst the
