Journey except as we were just nearing

the end of the First days journey & crossing

over one of the native Bridges which are a very

temporary affair made of Bamboo poles laid

across then platted with twigs & finally

covered with Earth the Thing gave way &

I was dropped through into the water but

after being Fished out I was none the worse

for the Ducking. We reached our First day’s

journey end & as usual laid down under

the Stars to sleep but as on the First night we

got another drenching but we did not mind

that as we were on our journey back to

Maymyo.

Monday Mar 22 1915

The Revielle again Blew at 5-o-clock but

we were all ready to move without that

as we had been unable to get any sleep

that night we left this place about 6

o-clock & reached the end of our second

days journey without Incident except that

we were covered in sweat & Dust & nearly
