All tents were finished in about 1 hour. First

you Losen all ropes except one which is left

for to hold the Tent Erect Then when everyone is

ready at a note from the Bugler the last rope

is loosened & then all the Tents drop together after

every thing was packed we laid down to sleep

under the stars. At about 11-o-clock it started to

rain & before it had rained very long we were

drenched to the skin never the less we fell asleep

again & slept untill 5-o-clock when the Revielle

blew & we knew we were on our las day on

Manoevers.

Sun Mar 1915

After a very hasty breakfast we had to pack

the mules which I can assure anyone takes a

bit of doing for novices but after a few of our

men had been knocked over we managed to

get them all finished & fell in about 8-o-clock

ready to move away which we did about 8-30

I can’t say very much about the journey as it

was practically the same as on the outward
