Sunday we were all marched down to Hospital

& were well dosed with Quinine & Condy’s Fluid

then a short church Parade & then

Finished for the day we spent the day simply

lying about as we could not go any where as

this is such a desolate country you can not

find any thing to pass the time away so we

have simply a lie about & wait for night.

Mon Mar 15 1915

To day we were again dosed with Quinine &

Condy’s Fluid & after a short drill which

lasted untill 10-o-clock we were off for the

day at least untill 6-30 at night as we were

to go out for Night Manoevers. At 6-30 we

were marched away I really cannot describe

these as you cannot see what or where you

are going. This is more a test for the

Officer than the men. The men part is just

to keep going sometimes on there feet & some
