Wed Feb 10 1915
Still preparing for the shooting tests during
the afternoon played in a Football match
against a team of Gurkas won by 3-0 it
is very amusing to see them playing in
there bare feet.
Thurs Feb 11 1915
Very wet day so we were all marched up
to the Hospital where every man had to take
a dose of Quinine There were some lovly
faces after this and a rush to buy bananas
to take the taste out of our mouths at night
we went down to the Bazaar again & tried
to buy curios from the natives but it was
very hard to get them to part all I could
get was a very quant ring and was lucky
to get that.
