still with G Company. Did practilly the same

as yesterday & using blank cartridges the

weather now is getting very hot and by

noon it is practically unbearable.

 

Fri Jan 29 1915

 

To day we went on parade but were

suddenly brought back as we had just

recieved news to go at once to Myitkyina

on account of the rising of the Kachins. We

went first of all to the Hospital to be again

examined by the doctor & after that we had to

get ready for off as soon as possible and at

once marched off & left Maymyo at 9-o.
