to go but expect I shall drop in for
it the next time. After tea we went out
& Gathered wood & made a good fire in the
Bungalow & sat round it & talked about what
we would be doing if we had been in
England. went to bed about 9:30

Sun Jan 10 1915
Attended church Parade during morning
as usual the same old Sermon. Women &
Wine. After church went for a good long
walk went abut 5 miles untill we came
accross a large Pagado Pagoda which is a Native
Palace of worship. After much trouble & giving
of Backscheesh Baksheesh we managed to get inside. Inside
it is a most marvellous sight. At one end
there is a large Image which is either made
of brass or heavily gilded. It was simply
covered in precious stones wheater real or
imitation of corse I myself can hardly
