November 7th 1915

Still sleeping on the floor. but just heard

that we are going to get beds in a few

days, so that will be a trifle letter. The

dirt & dust here are simply unbearable &

what with sweating & the dust blowing

about, half the day you can hardly tell us

from the natives. When we get our meals

here we have to sit on the floor with

our plate between our knees, have nearly

forgotten what a table is like.

just recieved a bedstead but as we

cannot get any beds it is far worse than

sleeping on the floor, when we get out
