approached everyone was very excited & I
had the welcome news that there were
two for me, and I can safely say
that I considered this the finest Christmas
Gift that I have ever received. They both
contained very Gratifying news & if it
very nice to think there is someone
thinking about you & you are not
forgotten after all.

Dec 27th 1914
Sunday To Day was very quite we had a
church Parade during the Morning & the
afternoon I spent in writing letters to
England & preparing for work again on
Monday Morning & went to Bed about
8-o-clock after spending a very lazy day.
