My Own Darling Wife,
Letters do seem to take a
long time to travel don't they. Ta for
yours of the 26th. Unfortunately the
Brigade + Bn Sports did not
materialise owing to our moving
but we hope to run them off some
day. Glad you had a good time at
Mrs Blacks but sorry you got wet
on the way home. Yes it is good
of Lucy to write. I enjoy her letters. I
managed to write to her last
night. I hear that we may stay
in this wood for another week
- hope it is true. No Lassie it
not really against my wishes
you go back to Grantham. My
