offensive had come to a standstill.

I think the Boche has a lot to

learn about the British Army yet

we may be bad starters but it

takes a lot to stop us once we

are on the move. I got one bite

from a moskeeto (that doesn't look right)

the other day & I have one of my

usual bumps on the arm. I have

been wearing nothing above the

waist for a few days except a

shirt with the sleeves rolled up

& the front well opened so you

can guess I am "browning some"

When I get in the line I shall love

to wear my tan tunic again. Not

that I want to but just to keep
