  Meal since we left England & managed

  to perfection also had a good wash the

  first for 2 days as it is impossible to

  get one in an Indian Train they are only

  like boxes on wheels

   

  Dec 5th 1914

  Had Breakfast at Raipur. Made a good

  meal off Bread Jam & Tea. Stopped at

  Bilasyer to wash & fill our water bottles with

  fresh water. Arrived at Paraghat where we

  passed the Munsters going to the Front. Passed

  the second lot of Munsters at Naila.

  arrived at Raigarh where we had Bread

  Tea Meat & Cheese. Arrived at Bisra where

  we all got out of the Train & waited

  for the 1st Border Regiment going to the

  front & there were great cheering on both

  Sides.
