through wounded! of course we are deeply sorry that you are
and also that you have to endure suffering which we feel
with you will be only temporary. "Things might be worse" is a trite
saying often upon our lips, nevertheless its strictly true, as you
can realize more than ourselves, who have not been through your
firy ordeal. And yet believe me in some mysterious way I have
shared once again a telepathic knowledge of happenings, as I
have with your two brothers previously when entering upon more
dangerous work, Thursday morn with the dawn found me strangely
wakeful & restless and throughout the day I was worried &
anxious as also Friday, and pleaded very much whilst busy with
my hands for the Almighty to cover with His Hand my boys from the
shot & sword of the enemy, and was strangely led to put into my
petition - "even if wounded we shall know Thou has answered prayer"
and with that my fears seemed to go. In the light of events
what can one say? but "whilst ye call I will answer" and I
rest there. some other time I will tell you of the other two
instances which stand just as clear answers as to be
beyond doubt. We have now to picture you now in fresh &
better surroundings, ministered to by kindly hands & tender
care freely given everywhere to our brave wounded soldier lads
like Wesley you begin to praise the loving wise thought which
has furnished such a multitude of hospitals throughout dear old
England for their reception and healing. make the most of it
and enjoy to the full all it can give for your complete healing.
