Forgot to say, Frank Davey had

heard that all the 2nd London

Rifle brigade had been brought

back to England again & he

was glad for your sake -

another false rumour.

Our Chaplain tonight was Rev

P.  Milum , he has been in France

2 1/2 years for the past 2 months has

been following on the heels of the Hun

and he said his eyes were really

the first to scan leisurely the no

mans land from which the

Hun retreated. He gave us a very

graphic account of the scene he

viewed, also told us of the missing

& flowering of the fallen trees. He

was very nice & was interesting

tho painful to listen to. Mind
