  My Darling Marion,

            I have no other paper handy
  

  so must use a sheet or two of my HB 153

  Ta for your letter just received dated

  16th inst. As you will see by my other letter

  the rest period has been somewhat changed

  + much shortened. I think I must have got the

  parcel before the letter. Hope you had

  a good tea - play time. Yes you told

  me about the Balls' going. If I were you

  I would write to the Electric Light People

  + tell them that you will pay £1 a

  quarter (as agreed) until the amount is

  paid off. (£1 a quarter for 3 years). I think

  we have paid £5 at least. Tell them we

  do not prospect to buy "hire - purchase"

  unless using the lighting apparatus. They 

  cannot do other than agree & I have

  told them several times that that was

  what I should do with regard to the 10/9

  that is a mistake in their bill & this

  also I have pointed out on several occasions
