we are now on what is called Company

training which always lasts about 2 months.

The Programme changes every day, but the

Majority of day, we generally have Company

drill before Breakfast & afterwards we

have various stages of Sham Fighting

generally marching for miles & eventually

arriving back about 1-o-clock & then every

third night we have night opperations which

last about 2 hours. Have just heard that we

again leave Maymyo on Jan 10th to go into

camp at a place called Ani Sakan, we shall

be there about 1 month after which we are

again going to Mandalay, so then our travelling

will be over once more for at least six

months but I am hoping that before that is

over we shall at least see some signs of

the war coming to a close & visions of

home once more.
