there was some hot tea ready for us & after

having that we were all in good spirits once

more. The reason we have been put into

tents & isolated is supposed to be on account

of the quantity of disease that were contracted

at Mandalay & they think that this will blow it all

off, any way it is to be hoped that it will

blow it off quick & let us get back again into

Bungalows.

 

Sept 27 1915

 

To day instead of having a holiday as we

expected we had parades just as usual & we were

any thing but comfortable as every thing was

wet after the heavy rain during the night.

One of the chief Parades now is digging a

large bath. We are just like a lot of

Navies digging away. The bath when finished

will measure about 26 yards long by

16 yards wide. It is 7 ft deep at one end &
