reached Maymyo. after a good tea & a
good bath we were again fit for any-
thing & this completed another 400 miles which
I must place to the record of the wandering
forth. I am placing in the back part of
this a complete record of the distances
travelled since joining this Regiment.
Tues Mar 2 1915
To day we were given a holiday after
our tiring journey, & we really needed it as every
thing we had had at Myitkyina were so very
dirty that it was really a pleasure to spend
the day cleaning everything so after all it was
not such a holiday after all but it passed on
a very lazy day & we were all in Bed very
early & it was Great to be in a bed after
lying on the Floor on Dirty straw for a
month.
