  Arrived   on Lemnos  

  Island.

  Rowing all day

  Inspection of kits & 

  iron rations.

  Swimming parade in the

  evening had a nice

  dip in the briny.

  
  

  20 TUES.

  Rowing all the morning.

  Water very rought

  as a gale was blowing.

  
  

  Didn't go out in the evening

  as it was too rough.

  
  

  21 WED.

  Rowing again today.

  Raining very hard and blowing.

  
  

  The "under new management" sign evidently
