ataway as it is the half holiday so MrsLynch the owner asked if I knew him. I said
I knew him very well, then she asked where I
came from so I told her, she asked me if I knew
Murroc I said I did then she said she came
from Newport. Then she told me that Willie
Ryan wouldn't be back until six oclock, and
said I was to be back then. I called at 6 oc
and she met me in the bar and I had to go up
stairs to the dining saloon. There I met him
and he having his tea and I had to have tea
also. He was greatly surprised when I walked
in to him as Mrs Lynch
as Mrs Lnevermentioned to him that I had called. I also
met his brother a school teacher and several
other men from Limerick and Tipperary. After
tea we were talking about the country around
at home and all that sort of things. Mrs Lynch
and her husband and the others wouldn't let me go
back to the boat so I slept there that night, and
had breakfast and dinner there next day Sunday.
After dinner they went visiting friends in thecountry about thirty miles outside the city and
I had to go too, as Mrs Lynch wouldn't let me
