4 EASTER DAY
Spent morning in camp
Went to Cairo on piquet
at 2 oC and returned
at midnight
5 EASTER MON.
Inspection of Post on
the Suez Road Retd
to camp later on as
there was a terrific
sandstorm all day
6 EASTER TUES.
Drilling all day
on the Parade Ground.

No drill today but
we got our hair cropped
and got our regimental
colours which we sewed
on to our tunics.
Went to Cairo in the evening
8 THUR.
Drill in the
morning spent rest
of day getting my
gear ready to leave
camp
9 FRI.
Went for a short
march.
Should a dentist's surgery be called a
"drawing room"?
